One of the biggest stars in contemporary Brazilian music is returning to the UK this coming May, after delighting audiences at a sold out concert in the capital almost 2 years ago.
Maria Rita shot to fame in 2003, with self-titled debut album earning her both critical and public acclaim worldwide as well as a series of awards in her home country and six Latin Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist in 2004.
The daughter of the late Elis Regina, one of the most respected and adored singers in Brazilian history, is an extraordinary singer in her own right, who won international recognition by captivating audiences with her unique, note-perfect vocals and strong stage presence.
Expect to hear hits such as ‘Cara Valente’ and ‘A Festa’ in what promises to be a night to remember, set in one of the most attractive venues in London.
